The Record Weekly is pleased to list the upcoming events of our churches that are happening in the week ahead. We will include the announcement in the weekly e-mail on Mondays. If you do not already subscribe to The Record Weekly just follow the link at the bottom of any page and register for The Record Weekly.

What you can expect?

Parish events will be published the week of and the week preceding the event. Diocesan-wide events will be published for approximately one month. Some diocesan-wide major events (like Convention, major gatherings, Diocesan Council meetings) may be published for a longer period of time.

Since The Record Weekly will list parish calendar events for only one or two weeks, this should not be viewed as the only means of spreading the word about your church’s event. Consider this a final reminder for interested persons. We will also list your church event on The Record Weekly calendar.

Please carefully and specifically follow these instructions so your event can be included in The Record Weekly. It will help the readers to include another Web site where more details can be found that can be linked to your announcement.

The Record Weekly will also list your church's job or employment opportunities. We like to help Episcopalians find employment. Please include the Web link to where interested persons can go for additional information. The Record Weekly will run your announcement for three weeks.

Again, please follow these instructions carefully for inclusion in the weekly list of upcoming events and job listings.

1) Open a new e-mail to theweeklycalendar@earthlink.net and the subject line contains the date of the event.

2) List the name of the event and the important information such as time and place.

3) If you also include a Web link for additional information, we will include that.

We will review brief press announcements, but your efforts to streamline the information will help us more efficiently post your announcements.
